Chinese BESS Manufacturers & Integrators
Your equipment sells into Europe — but the warranty obligations, field service and compliance burden still sit on your shoulders. BessRe is your local after-sales and O&M team in Europe, delivering under your brand and your warranty terms, so every unit shipped has someone accountable on the ground.
The problems you face
Every deal closed, every container shipped — the same set of issues eats into margin and reputation.
Flying engineers destroy margin
Every after-sales ticket means flying an engineer from China — flights, visas, travel, time zones, translation. A single visit costs thousands of euros and the response still takes 1–2 weeks. Customer trust and gross margin erode at the same time.
Warranty obligations with no local backstop
European buyers write SLA response times and local spare-parts requirements into the contract — you sign it, but you have no local execution capability to honour it. Penalty clauses, reputational damage, and orders that get harder to close every quarter.
Rising compliance bar
NIS2, the EU Batteries Regulation, CE/EN certification and grid-code requirements — European buyers increasingly demand an EU-based local service partner. Without a compliant local entity, you may not even qualify to tender.
Your core needs
We break these down into service items that are contractable, deliverable and verifiable.
- A local European legal entity that can sign contracts, invoice and communicate in Chinese
- Field service delivered under your brand and warranty terms (commissioning, repair, RMA)
- A Belgian local spare-parts warehouse with ADR-compliant battery logistics
- Hands-on support for EU regulations and certification (who does what, and when)
- A closed loop for recycling and producer responsibility (EPR) compliance
- Bank- and insurer-ready work-order documentation to support financing and underwriting
- A tiered remote-diagnosis plus L1/L2 field response system
What BessRe provides
One interface. A closed loop on the ground.
Local after-sales & O&M management
We run warehousing and certified field teams from Antwerp, covering commissioning, warranty service, RMA and recycling end to end. You deal with a single interface; our local team closes the loop for your European customers — under your brand.
Chinese business front + Belgian execution
Our Shanghai front office handles contracts, invoicing and communication in Chinese; our Belgian team handles the field. Commercial terms follow Chinese OEM conventions, engineering follows EU standards.
Consignment spares & local inventory
High-turnover and critical parts land in our Belgian warehouse before you need them. Same-day swap for the most common faults, transparent stock visibility and automatic low-stock alerts — less downtime and less emergency air freight.
Compliance & certification hand-holding
From CE/EN certification and grid connection to NIS2 and the Batteries Regulation, we give you a checklist of who does what and when — so you never stall at tender or grid-connection stage over a compliance gap.

Localised delivery for a Dutch C&I storage manufacturer
Background: A Chinese C&I storage manufacturer signed 20 projects in the Netherlands, with contracts requiring 24-hour response and Belgian local spares. It had been flying engineers, and after-sales cost consumed 40% of gross margin per project.
BessRe engagement: Three weeks to complete technical onboarding and consignment spares into the warehouse; the Shanghai team handled contracts while the Belgian team took over commissioning and warranty for all 20 sites.
Result: Average response fell from 7 days to 18 hours; after-sales cost dropped roughly 60%; the Dutch customer renewed a second-year O&M contract and added two more projects.
Compliance breakthrough for a German utility-scale project
Background: A Chinese utility-scale BESS manufacturer was stuck at the German grid-connection stage — grid-code and certification documentation was incomplete, with the project delayed and penalty clocks running.
BessRe engagement: The local team completed the certification and grid-connection checklist item by item, and in parallel took over commissioning and first-year O&M.
Result: Grid connection completed six days early; zero critical faults in the first O&M year; the manufacturer subsequently named BessRe its sole local service partner for Germany.
After-sales cost comparison
Flying engineers vs local management, all-in cost per ticket.

FAQ
Will BessRe deliver under my own brand?
Yes. BessRe delivers field service under your brand and warranty terms — your customer sees you; work orders, reports and tooling can all carry your brand. We are the local execution layer behind you.
Where does local management actually save money versus flying engineers?
Three places: hard costs of travel and visas; response time — flying engineers take 1–2 weeks while a local team is on-site next day, cutting downtime and penalty exposure; and spares — a local warehouse hits more faults same-day, avoiding emergency air freight.
Do I have to take the full package? Can I buy commissioning or RMA only?
No. Services are modular — commissioning only, warranty response only, RMA reverse logistics only, or compliance hand-holding only, each contractable separately. We recommend combining by project risk, but we never force bundling.
How do consignment spares work — who owns the inventory?
Two models: consignment, where stock ownership stays with you and BessRe warehouses and manages it, settling on dispatch; or BessRe self-purchases critical parts and bills per ticket. Stock data is fully transparent with automatic low-stock alerts.
What certifications does your technical team hold?
Our Belgian field team holds BA4/BA5, VCA and ITC certifications and completes product-specific training and certification for your line. ADR battery-transport steps are handled by certified personnel. Training records and certificates are provided with work-order documentation.
How do you guarantee the SLA is actually honoured?
The framework agreement states response targets, on-site time and penalty terms; every work order generates structured documentation with auditable timestamps. We deliver against measurable data, not verbal promises.
How does BessRe connect with banks and insurers?
Our work orders and maintenance documentation follow the format lenders’ technical advisors and loss adjusters expect, supporting financing due diligence, underwriting and claims — lowering your cost of capital and insurance.
Do contracts and settlement follow Chinese or European conventions?
Commercial engagement follows Chinese OEM conventions — Chinese communication, CNY or EUR settlement negotiable; engineering delivery and compliance follow EU standards. We handle both sides.
How long does cold start take from signing to accepting tickets?
Typically 3–6 weeks: after the framework agreement, 2–3 weeks for technical onboarding and training certification, 1–2 weeks for consignment spares and system integration, then you can accept tickets. Urgent projects can run in parallel and accelerate.
Do you also handle battery recycling and EPR obligations?
Yes. RMA reverse logistics, ADR-compliant transport and battery recycling can be closed-loop executed, meeting EU producer responsibility (EPR) obligations and avoiding the compliance and reputational risk of an uncovered recycling duty.
