About BessRe

BessRe is the party accountable for availability and response time of storage assets in Europe. We sell no hardware, integrate nothing, distribute nothing — our revenue comes only from service contracts, so we have no reason to favour any manufacturer’s account of a failure. We run two hubs with spare-parts stores: Antwerp (Western hub) and Novi Sad (Eastern hub).

Where you will be based

Based in Antwerp if you already have the right to work in Belgium (for example as an EU/EEA or Swiss citizen, or with a valid Belgian residence and work authorisation). Otherwise based in Novi Sad, Serbia, with the Serbian work permit arranged by BessRe.

Why this role

Our field team commissions, inspects and repairs commercial and grid-scale battery storage for clients in Europe. We are hiring field technical service engineers to commission, inspect, troubleshoot and repair these systems on customer sites, working to manufacturer procedures and BessRe safety standards.

What you will do

• Commission and test battery storage systems against project and manufacturer specifications
• Carry out on-site inspection, fault isolation, troubleshooting and repair
• Perform preventive maintenance and support O&M, monitoring and diagnostics
• Document work, report root causes and follow lockout-tagout and site safety procedures
• Travel to customer sites across Europe as part of a scheduled service network

What you bring

• 1+ year of relevant field experience in electrical, energy, wind-turbine or battery-storage work
• A valid electrician licence (electrical qualification for the country you will work in)
• Working English, plus one or more European languages; Romanian, Bulgarian, German, Dutch, Croatian or Serbian preferred
• Willingness to travel across Europe
