When something fails, who is responsible?

Root cause and responsibility are established independently of the manufacturer, and the warranty evidence is assembled and the claim pursued. Manufacturer warranty covers the box; someone has to answer for the site. Where a failure has several possible owners, we say which one, in writing.

When a site underperforms

The manufacturer points at the integration, the integrator at the EMS, the EMS provider at the battery, and the O&M contractor at all three. Each party covers a piece; rarely does anyone sign for the whole site.

What we do

We establish root cause and responsibility — independent of the manufacturer.

We assemble the evidence and pursue the claim — per signed agreement.

When a failure has several possible owners, we say which one — in writing.

The data behind the judgement

Since August 2024, Article 14 of the EU Battery Regulation gives owners access to state-of-health data; from February 2027, every industrial battery above 2 kWh carries a digital passport maintained through use. BessRe reads that data independently — which makes an availability commitment measurable.

We judge availability and response time on our own data, commit only to what we can deliver.

What you are buying

What you are buying is not outsourced labour. It is a party that signs for the result.

BessRe is the party accountable for availability and response time of storage assets in Europe. We sell no hardware, integrate nothing, distribute nothing — our revenue comes only from service contracts, so we have no reason to favour any manufacturer’s account of a failure.

The claim in context

Manufacturer escalation, parts channels and a Chinese-speaking front office.

Every engagement adds to a performance record that can only be earned over time.

How we charge

Claims — per signed agreement.
